Brookcourt Receives Landmark AI Management Systems Certification ISO 42001 at AI Summit, London

Shearwater Group plc, the cybersecurity, advisory, and managed security services group, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Brookcourt Solutions Limited, has become one of the first organisations in the UK to achieve certification against ISO 42001, the pioneering international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS).
The company were presented with their award by Liz Moran, Leader of Business Assurance at SGS who provided the comprehensive audit of Brookcourt’s AI development practices, governance processes and risk management systems. The award was received by Dale Rushman, AI Manager at Brookcourt, Kathy Zhai, AI Consultant and Lindsey Domingo, Senior Director both from Xcina Consulting. [right to left]
This milestone underscores Brookcourt’s commitment to responsible and transparent AI development and governance. The certification programme was led by Xcina Consulting, Shearwater’s governance, risk and compliance advisory arm. The ISO/IEC 42001 certification provides a globally recognised framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving AI management systems. It is the first international standard specifically focused on AI.
This achievement demonstrates Shearwater Group’s ongoing commitment to pioneering cybersecurity standards and responsible AI use, reinforcing its position at the forefront of digital risk protection.
